Faranda is located in a safe area of Barranquilla. There are many good dining options within a short walk of the hotel. The room that we stayed in was spacious, had a walk in rain shower with plenty of hot water. The balcony was a very nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and people watch. The facilities were all consistent with those found in the nicest hotels in the United States. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and affords the guests a sweeping view of Barranquilla. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, made to order eggs, omelets, waffles, a variety of Colombian dishes such as rice, meats and even soups. The swimming pool is also located on the 10 floor with great views of the city. The pool was always clean and well maintained. The hotel has two elevators that fast and efficient. Air conditioning worked well throughout the property as did the high speed internet. The best part of the 19 night stay was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff.

All the staff was amazing, the hotel decor was phenomenal very up to date. The location is good close to many places. They are always cleaning in this hotel it is VERY clean. They even were touching up the light poles when I was there. Bed was super comfortable the shower was hot. The front desk staff from Shirley the front desk manager super sweet love her,the front desk girls gensis,aileen,and there was one more super sweet girls. Restaurant staff: wilmer he makes the best drinks,Carlos the cook fixes my breakfast so sweet,Nay is my go to person love her,yulio super sweet always has a smile on her face.felix my little butterfly I always called him smiley he was sweet too.

Facilities outside the room were fine. Great breakfast on days 1-3, mediocre, limited, and truly disappointing on days 4-5

Very friendly staff and nice small hotel. All clean and nice rooms. Breakfast is very good and lovely prepared. The only disadvantage here is, that at the start of breakfast at 6 many things not ready on the buffet and best only after 7 am as then all is there. Pizzeria from hotel is very delicious, but also expensive.

The hotel was an amazing oasis of quality and high tech facilities in the middle of a luxurious neighbourhood, which has buildings last renovated decades ago. This is the best are of the city and the area around the hotel is very safe ... unlike the rest of the city. The staff was very helpful and pleasant and both restaurants in the building provided very good food. Welcome drinks, coffee and biscuits in the welcome area are a very pleasant touch.

The location is great! Especially if you want to be away from all the huddle and bustle. It is still conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The beds were great! Our room had pillow-top and looked brand new. Loved the multiple pillows. Breakfast was amazing! Loved the display and freshness of the fruit.

I booked a 3 night stay to unwind after a 3 week motorcycle tour of the Caribbean coast. It was amazing luxury in every way. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It just has the nicest ’vibe’. The hotel is very quiet, the beds and linens are fantastic. The hotel and rooms are spotless, the neighborhood is quiet, safe and beautiful for walking. Breakfast was different every morning and always a big variety. Don’t miss trying their restaurant, also out of this world.

The design and decoration of the hotel is impeccable. We felt as if we were in Paris or some place like that. Each detail is amazing from the roof top restaurant, the roof top pool, the check in area, and especially our room with private balcony all look like pictures in a magazine. I asked for a romantic detail for the room for my wife and me and they delivered a spectacular scene of roses, rose petals everywhere, a bottle of delicious wine in ice, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was like a movie. The attention and service were 10 stars, and everyone was so kind and helpful. We have never had service this good before. The employee are the best!!! The food is AMAZING!! We ate lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the roof top restaurant and the drinks were made perfectly, the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. The bartenders are number 1!

My family and I loved the hotel. it has a small boutique feel which was great and the staff was really nice and helpful. The front desk lady Shirley was awesome. She helped us find somewhere safe to change our dollars to pesos at a great rate and we did not even have to leave the hotel for that. We did it in the lobby with a company that sent a rep straight to the hotel. That was great because we felt safe.

the property was located at one of the oldest most traditional towns of Barranquilla. As a native I enjoyed taking a walk to close by convenience shops and short cab ride to delicious bakeries and restaurants. The restaurant at the property “Pink dolphin” had yummy food as well for when we didn’t feel like going out. The breakfast included was also nice since I have young kids and starting our day with options beyond the basic breakfast was very welcomed. A variety of fruits, made to order eggs, Colombian hot chocolate and baked goods were my kids favorite. At the time of our stay the pool was under maintenance so we were given a voucher and transportation to use the Hotel El Prado pool (1 block away) which was in fact a treat because this hotel is a historic site and beautifully kept. The front staff girls Shirley and (*) were super friendly and helpful.
